Liam has over 13 years’ experience as therapist.He is trained in an Integrated Model of counselling, taking in skills, theory and interventions from various approaches e.g. Person Centred, CBT and Psychodynamic, Solution focussed, and Goal orientated.
Liam believes each person’s situation is unique and would aim to tailor my approach to suit the individuals needs.He aims to build trust within the therapeutic relationship from the start using Rodgers Core Conditions of unconditional positive regard, empathy and congruence.He seeks to empower the client to find solutions and achieve goals and support them to gain better coping strategies through greater knowledge of the self, and the use of psycho-education.
